If I wanted to watch a whole story in once session, I would watch a movie.
#that said I have nothing against binging and marathoning shows and frequently do with things i have seen already#and i am definitely one to save up a few episodes and watch a new show in chunks instead of one at a time as they are released#but like... part of that is the structure of how things are made and how my free time is structured#if every episode didn't end in a cliff hanger i would be happier tbh#make a good show and i'll come back all the time you don't need every episode to end in a cliff hanger i fucking promise#and that isn't to say things can't be like tell a throughline story but i NEED more episodic scenarios#where there is a main issue that gets resolved by the end but it can incorporate elements from a broader issue
